Hello Class! Over the course of the next 10 class periods, you are going to take a journey through some of History's most prominent and influential Art movements! Starting with Greek and Hellenistic Art, you are going to choose different movements to explore and discover, all the way up to today. The list of movements include: Greek and Hellenistic, Renaissance, Baroque, Realism, Impressionism and Post Impressionism, Surrealism, Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art, and lastly, Postmodernism. Through this exploration, you are going to discover different artists, techniques, and styles. Once you complete your journey through these movements, you will take your knowledge and interpretations, and transform them into your own works of art!
